Lamai Beach stretches over 2.5 miles. Lamai Bay is to the north and Hin Ta Hin Yai to the south. The beach is lined with coconut trees, giving it a more tropical feel than Chaweng. It’s a lively place day or night with its many bars and beach restaurants.

Nightlife : Lamai offers an intense night activity and offers a fine selection of pubs, bars, cafes, beach clubs and disco (Fusion Club).
Free outdoor Thai boxing fights. It’s a pretty impressive show, consisting of several fights during the night involving women, men, and sometimes lady boys. It’s definitely hardcore stuff.
Lamai night Market : The atmosphere is lively every night. It’s adorned with small clothes and souvenirs stalls. There are seafood restaurants with promoters at the door. The food may not be up to everyone’s tastes. If you are not into simple seafood there are multiple places to purchase souvenirs before heading back home.
La Walking Street : Genuine Thai food, local crafts, and a lot more to discover in these famous markets referred to as walking street. These are very popular among tourists passing through. Here you can buy souvenirs, eat and drink at the many stalls for very little money and feel comfortable in a relaxed atmosphere.
